This is an ideal spot for just two or the family. The big balcony faces the beach and it has the perfect view of the waves and the sunset. The property is centrally located to shops and eateries. Bring a couple of glasses of wine and sit on the balcony and enjoy - the sunsets are spectacular!! It's a one bedroom condo with a king size bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa queen size bed. The resort also has cots available for more guests. You are just steps away from the waves. It's a friendly beach community and the property is centrally located to the shops and restaurants galore. Walk in to town and enjoy the farmer's market and the art festival. Find a nice bottle of wine at the wine and chocolate shop and enjoy the sunset. It's an ideal romantic spot for couples but the facilities and beach activities could keep the kids busy too.

Sirima, was highly responsive and communicable. No issues at all. Beautifully furnished condo. Impeccably clean. We had a wonderful time.
We had an incredible stay in Carlsbad and plan on being back next year. This is an incredible location with something to do for everyone.
The only thing we had any hiccups with was the check in process but once we figured out how it was under the owner’s name, the front desk was able to figure out the correct check in process! The unit was a beautiful ocean view. We have stayed at this resort when I was a kid and this visit definitely lived up to my expectations!
Very nice and spacious condo with the best location! Seeing the ocean from the patio was worth the stay alone! Very friendly staff and great amenities. a special place for sure, would definitely stay here again!

It's centrally located but I'm also right at the beach! I have the best of both worlds. I could just kick off my shoes and take my morning or sunset walks if I want to just hear the waves. But if I want to mix it up, I could just go across the street for good eats and dancing or karaoke! There are lots of good lunch/dinner places to try out as well as shopping (my personal favorite)!
I honestly have not used the buses or train but they are available on the routes here. You could just hop on the train to head down to San Diego's old town district (my sister in law explored that route - fun). I find everything is just a walk away. But if you would like to see the attractions such as: Legoland, La Jolla, San Diego Zoo, SD Safari Park, SD Old Town, or Sea World renting a car (on site rental) would be best.
