Secluded room with French doors to garden. Entrance via shared utility corridor. Room has its own toilet and electric shower. Room offers view of long garden with seating options. We have chickens and bee hives, which don’t bother us but means we can offer eggs and honey for breakfast with fresh coffee and toast. We are within reach of Sywell reservoir, Northampton, Althorp, Salcey forest and Silverstone. We have 2 cats which stay out of the way of strangers. King size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and wicker chair with bedside tables.

An absolutely lovely couple who opened up their home to us. An 8 minute walk to Earls Barton shops, and drivable to many locations, this is a perfect home from home. We will be back. Thank you very much to Alison, Philip, Oscar, Bella, the chickens and in particular, even though he doesn’t live there, Albus ❤️❤️❤️
Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in! Alison and Philip were very friendly and accommodating; the breakfast selection was lovely and they couldn’t be more helpful. Really comfy bed in a quiet area and you feel separate from the house whilst having everything easily accessible. Our daughter loved the chickens, cats and bees! Would definitely recommend.

Earls Barton is a small quiet village which has a recreation ground with skate park, adventure playground and traditional swing area. It has a very old Saxon tower on the church with a moat and one of the best coffee shops in the country... Jeyes. It is walking distance from Sywell reservoir, has its own vineyard and you can cycle or drive to Pitsford reservoir if desired. We also have a marina with excellent coffee shop beside the river Nene.
There is a bus to Northampton which runs every hour and one to Wellingborough /Peterborough and other villages.

We love traveling and have enjoyed many comfortable stays in other people's houses. we have taken a lot of time to make our house and garden a friendly relaxing atmosphere and we are happy to share that with others. we are outdoors people who love diving, skiing, cycling and walking though there is never anything better to do in an evening than sit in front of our wood burner with a good film and a cat!
