This was a gorgeous place, loved it and Ngaire was so kind, also making us blueberry muffins. I thought from the description there would be a clear view of the lake, but there was only a bit, although the private beach with folding chairs was great

Great location! Short walking track down to a little private bay. The house was immaculate. Ngaire was very friendly and met us on check in even though we arrived quite late. We had a lovely stay!

Ngaire was so lovely and very welcoming, offering spare towels & blankets if needed and we were told to let her know if we needed anything at all/if we had any problems. It was a great location for our group to get ready for a wedding at the Black Barn. Only a very short walk to the beautiful lake too! Only improvements could be a toilet in the outside room (which Ngaire said is being hooked up at some stage) and maybe a better wifi system. All round, great place and great host! 😊

We had a lovely break, 2 mums and three teenagers between us. Lake Tarawera is so beautiful and mountain bike trails close by. Lovely to meet you Ngaire, and thank you for such a great stay.

Ngaire was a fantastic host, spotless accommodation in the most beautiful spot. she made us feel so welcome, even baked us blueberry muffins. we took full advantage of the kayaks and the private beach. the basketball court was just a minute walk away which the kids loved. we will definitely be back. the best Air bnb I have stayed in.
