The place was as pictured and it was really nice to be exactly on the beach and to have a kitchen to ourselves to cook. The porch is nicely shaded and there were also chairs to sit out in the sun. The internet worked very well! One quirk is that there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom. The ocean is dramatic and beautiful, the snorkeling was good and we saw lots of turtles! There were kayaks and a SUP board and lots of snorkels and fins to use. Super nice and easy access. One thing to be aware of is that the wind is pretty relentless. We got used to it and came to enjoy it, but it's definitely a feature to be aware of and was quite different from the beaches near Port Vila. Also, there are 3 small cottages on the property, and they are quite close quarters. So if there are other renters at the same time then it could be hit or miss regarding noise. The onsite team were wonderful, warm and incredibly helpful. Thank you for everything!

We spent a lovely 8 nights holiday at Whispering Palms and enjoyed it very much. The location is perfect with the beach being a few steps away and the staff (Sylvie, John and Peter) took great care of us. Marcelo was very attentive and quick to answer our messages. Thank you we will be back

Whispering Palms is in an absolutely beautiful setting. We loved being able to swim in the sea and explore the reef which was only metres from the deck. Sylvie and John were wonderful hosts and so warm and welcoming. Loved learning from Peter about the coconuts and local vegetation.

We had a lovely time staying at Whispering Palms. We purposely chose this spot because it was secluded and had a beautiful reef right on the doorstep. This is not a place for you if you want to be in town and partying. This is a great location for relaxation and being away from it all. The description was very accurate and the photos just like in reality. Marcello was quick to reply to any communication. The caretakers, John and Silvie, were friendly and keen to help anytime. The highlights are: - snorkelling on the reef that is right outside your door - relaxing hammocks to rest - a fire at night to watch the stars - lovely manicured garden and deck Some things to know: - there really isn’t anywhere to eat out that is close by without access to transport - the village roosters can be noisy at night and very early (4am) so bring some earplugs We would highly recommend staying here!
