Casa de Vera is situated in Vedado, within a 7 minute taxi ride along the scenic Malecon to the historic Old Havana and is a few blocks away from the one-of-kind arts complex, La Fabrica de Arte, eclectic bookshop and café - Cuba Libro, open air salsa club El Chevere, family park El Bosque de La Habana, El Neocropolis Colon and Miramar's Fifth Avenue (Avenida Quinta). Most of the top rated restaurants, theatres and night scene showcasing current Cuban musical talents are found within Vedado and neighboring Miramar districts, and so you are truly located at the epicentre of the city!

Casa de Vera is a 20 minute taxi ride from the international airport. Many yellow taxis are lined at the airport, typically charging CUC 25, to be agreed upfront.
WITHIN THE CITY |
Taxis are plentiful along the cross street Calle 23, a main artery straight to El Malecon (waterfront) and Old Havana. Make use of the home land line to reserve a taxi ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) to collect you on your doorstep.
Alternatively, Calle 23 has a convenient Metro Bus stop, or hop in a ‘Taxi Colectivo’ for CUC 1 and share a ride with other Habaneros in an 'almendron' (1950's classic car).
