they retreat is absolutely beautiful. Everything about the place was 1st class. A 1 min walk and you were at the beach. loved the welcome pack too as it ment we could get a cuppa as soon as we arrived. wood definitely book again as we couldn't fault it

Solid, quiet spot for our golf trip around Ayrshire. Location was serene and peaceful right next to the beach . Only negative was downtown Ayr, which Leah and Gary have no control over. On our Friday night, it genuinely felt unsafe and uncomfortable in certain parts of downtown due to drunk and aggressive younger adults confronting us. Thankfully, nothing more than threatening comments. Otherwise, would return to their beautiful home in future trips, and just avoid downtown Ayr.

Really lovely space with loads of space and light. Comfortable beds, nice and toasty. Really appreciated all the ingredients of a Scottish breakfast! Literally minutes from the river, beach and Greenan Castle. We’ve stayed here before and we’ll definitely stay again. Thanks Gary.

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year,house was beautifully decorated wth Christmas tree and decorations. A very generous welcome pack was provided including butter,bacon,sausages,tea,coffee and wine. Good quality toiletries were also provided. The house is very close to the beach and pub and cafe near by. House was spotless,comfy beds and great bathrooms. House was lovely and warm. Only improvement i would suggest is to put a mirror in the bedrooms. Overall a fantastic stay,highly recommended and we will definitely return. Thank you!

We wanted to be near family for Christmas. The accommodation was perfect and a really lovely place to be for Christmas. Loved being so close to the sea as well. This is our second time we have stayed and will definitely book again in the future. Thank you.
