Le logement est parfait et très propre. Yordano est très gentil et a fait l’effort de parler français avec nous ! Le seul bémol, la casa est à 20 min en voiture du centre de La Havane. Mais lorsque c’est possible (quasiment tout le temps!), le père de Yordano nous a déposé en ville et est venu nous rechercher !

Cindy A - What a wonderful place this super humble family has. I loved that it was set up like a hotel where each room had its own bathroom and privacy. As soon as we arrived one of the sons helped us bring in our luggage and the lady of the house prepared probably the best mojitos we had our entire trip. She also cooked breakfast for us daily for $5, lunch and dinner were also available but we only had lunch once which was lobster for $12! I liked that each of our room keys had the key to the main gate of the house, giving us access those super late nights we stayed out exploring the Havana lifestyle. Although a driver is included to take us to the center of town we had made a connection with a driver we met on our last trip. So he was our mode of transportation during our entire stay. One thing to keep in mind is the location of this Air bnb, it is about a 20 minute ride to all the popular old and new havana attractions, so definitely take advantage of the driver thats included. Loved the cleanliness of the place and getting fresh bath towels daily was a plus. The rooms are air conditioned and had plenty of outlets to charge up all your electronics. Keep in mind if you leave your AC on to come back to a cool room, it will be turned off. So I suggested closing your bathroom door before heading out because I felt the heat was mostly felt there. The place comes with a pool as seen in their photos, starts off at about 3 ft deep and maybe goes to about 6ft. One of the sons named Jordani was super informative and answered any questions we had about the culture, slang, places to go etc. He was also very genuine in caring for our well being since we were a group of all girls. I highly recommend this place is you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This spot may be a bit out of the way — located in a suburb — but you’d be hard pressed to find a friendlier place and a little jewel of an oasis. We really loved the home cooked dinner and breakfast and also appreciated that our host drove us into town and picked us up and brought us back. Wish we spoke Spanish so we could have communicated a bit easier but we worked it out, including getting a front row table at Buena Vista Social Club via a reservation that Yordan made for us.

Well, not a bad thing to say. This was just what we were expecting. When we were arriving we noticed that we were going far from Old Havana and we arrived to a neighborhood kinda wondering if we were gonna be disappointed of the place, but when we got in to the house it’s like finding an small oasis in there. It wasn’t that far, actually just a 10 minutes ride by cab from Old Havana to Estancia, cabs are kinda expensive in Cuba but that was not a problem because the hosts gave us a ride to Old or New Havana every morning (and at noon too if you need it, we didn’t use it tho). And most important, the place is just as shown in the pictures. They offer meals for cheap prices, which were home made and delicious, so that was perfect. The room was clean and really comfy, it even has air conditioning. When we left for sightseeing everyday they gave us all the tips we needed, such as must visit places or not do activities (like buying tabacos in the streets). This hosts were amazingly friendly, Elvira and Eduardo and Patrícia their niece were always trying to help us with anything we needed and open to talk with us.

Nous avons adoré le sejour, l'endroit est charmant, le petit déjeuner excellent et la famille d'accueil est fantastique!!!!
