What a great, relaxing, rustic, and secluded riverside home with a stunning river view especially at sunset. The owners were kind and helpful when we had questions. There were friendly dogs on the property and an operational bathtub on the deck overlooking the river! We enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Souris for boutique shopping and dining at the Antlers and Oak Diner where they were very diet restriction conscious and helpful. A couple things to note are the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the home is fully occupied with the owners’ possessions (nowhere to unpack and store our clothing), and the flies were plentiful - but no mosquitos! Overall it was a very enjoyable stay!

An excellent place to unwind and relax. The view of the lake and the birds singing are very soothing. The dog was one of the highlights! She showed us the way to the cabin and was incredibly friendly and cute.

Sweet spot, feels like you are in a treehouse with all the bird song around you. Come for a quiet getaway and low key feel. Only minor issue we had was no wifi when we wanted a movie night. But they do advertise as rustic so that’s to be expected. Kelvin is really friendly and the dog Ruby is a special bonus.
