Our cozy cabin is situated on a large lot ten minutes from Boissevain and five minutes from the US border. Located in the Turtle Mountains, our cabin is the perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends. Morning coffee on our lakefront deck is the perfect way to start your day. Spend the day kayaking on the water or exploring the near by hiking trails and then return to the deck to enjoy watching the sunset with the loons singing in the background. Our beautiful cabin has been enjoyed by our family for over ten years and now we are ready to share our little bit of paradise with you. Built in 2009, this spacious cabin features three bedrooms with queen beds and a full kitchen with all the amenities. The front of the cabin has many windows over looking the lake so the view can be enjoyed while inside. Dinners can be prepared either on the deck with the BBQ or around our beautiful fire pit where we have enjoyed many gorgeous evenings. Watch for the fireflies as they light up the trees on the perfect summer evening. Some of our favourite days have been spent on the water, and we welcome you to enjoy using our kayaks (2 adult/3 children’s) while you stay! Excellent cottage, close to great hiking/birding trails. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake. Spacious and comfy living/dining area, appreciated reading lamps by bedsides. Quiet, peaceful retreat. Personalized welcome.
We were looking for a place to relax and this cottage was the perfect spot. Everything was as listed and met all expectations. Sharla and Braden were easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and consider returning in the future!
Our plans changed from having 6 people to only having four so we decided to stay another night and our hosts were very accommodating. As for the home itself, it was better than we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The scenery was so peaceful and beautiful. The loons calling, the star filled skies, and the warm summer breeze, honestly you couldn’t ask for more. It was perfect. Jump in the kayak and go for ride and watch the sunset. There is no WiFi and very little cell reception if any at all, but that was the best part for us. The home was spotless, and has everything you need. We highly recommend this home for a vacation or get away. You will not be disappointed. This place was paradise.
A beautiful property and cabin. Just as described and more beautiful in person. The cabin itself is very nice, with everything you need. We spent most of our time on the lake and enjoying the deck. It has lots of privacy and is in a great spot. Very close to Adam Lake for some good hiking, and close to Boissevain for anything else you might need. The hosts were very responsive and we had zero issues while there. Hope to make it back again!
The cabin/cottage was incredible! We had a seamless check-in, and their hospitality was second-to-none, we even got a nice little snack Welcome package when we arrived. The property was beautiful that was sitting on tranquil waters with an amazing deck that was perfect for drinking your morning coffee and looking out at the lake. If you get a chance to book this cabin do it because I'm sure they'll be fully booked in no time. We brought some lawn games which were perfect for the yard, but the cabin is well stocked with board games, movies and all amenities. A real gem!
