A resort town since 1964, Brian Head offers some of the best skiing in all of the Beehive State against the backdrop of a stunning red rock desert right nearby. Dixie National Forest also has cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Of course, Brian Head is not just for winter! Fishing fans will want to bring their gear and hit one of the region's reservoirs, lakes, creeks, and rivers, including idyllic Panguitch Lake. This part of Southern Utah is also loaded with national parks, including Cedar Break National Monument, just minutes away, and the larger parks of Zion and Bryce Canyon, within an hour's drive. And in the summer, you can easily walk to mountain attractions like hiking and a scenic chairlift ride.
