Did not disappoint. Family very surprised and happy with my vacation pick. Host was awesome. Lots of things to do in neighbor towns as well. Restaurants were very good. Fishing is awesome. The boys caught lots of catfish. Unfortunately, we did not eat or keep any catfish as all were set free to live another day. Girls definitely did not volunteer to help with cleaning and cooking catfish. Sad to say no one wanted that job. 😂 Rose Garden in Tyler is beautiful. Lots of antique shops in Gladewater. We also BBQ at our home away from home. Only issue was our weather. Who knew Texas would have record rain the week of vacation. 😀 I would definitely recommend the area and host as we all had an amazing time. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Hollie’s lakeside cabin was the perfect springtime retreat for our family. A peaceful contrast to the Texas beaches, my daughters were still able to get their fill for sand, but with a grassy walk back it didn’t find its way into our luggage or vehicles. Will stay here again if we find ourselves visiting family in Tyler during this time of year!

Had a great getaway here. Lovely home and very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed our time together, and we might make this our regular Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you for having us

Great home, great location! We loved the bathtub and the tree swing!
