A very comfortable and peaceful stay! I came here to hike the northumberland trail, and found it to be a fantastic location with plenty of walking options and the bus 18 nearby to take you to different starting points of the trail. Alnmouth is a beautiful village, and is an easy walk there. The bath tub was fantastic after a full day of hiking! Damian was very nice, responsive and helpful.

I've had Damian's place saved in my good finds for a while and was not disappointed. Check in was straightforward and then you were left to settle in and explore the area. The host/co host were on hand if you needed them and also offered an earlier check in as the room was ready. The room is part of their lovely home, but it never felt like you were intruding. The room was actually bigger than I expected, with lots of thoughtful touches, including books/information on local walks/colouring books/dog bowl and biscuits etc. There is also a small fridge, kettle and microwave in the room. A good selection of breakfast cereals/fruit/teas/hot chocolate/coffee (including a cafetiere) were also provided in the cost. All in all a lovely stay, despite the rain! Hopefully I'll be back again at some point and be luckier in that respect 🙏 😊🐾

We really enjoyed our time at Damian's house. The room was very spacious and private and has nice views over the surrounding fields. The hosts provide everything you need for a quick breakfast and the location gives you great access to the beautiful Northumberland coast! Would happily return to see more of the beaches and castles! (:

Appreciated resposiveness to my query about wash powder due to my excema. Specially provided bedding washed in a powder I do not react to. Appreciated. Needed a quiet couple of days away from my busy household and was perfect for this. Weather not great but still walked the beaches and wandered round Alnwick.

Our 3rd stay with Damien and Steph. The room suits us so well, and they are great hosts. We ate in the room as well as meals out. The room is spacious and comfy. Thanks to Damien and Steph. We will be back!
