We stayed here for a few days a of peace and quiet on Islay. Jacqueline gave every clear directions so it was easy to find and super clean and tidy inside. It had everything that we needed. It is a short walk to the shop and restaurants in Port Ellen and very easy to park right outside the front gate. I’d definitely recommend.

This flat is perfectly located in Port Ellen within walking distance of shops, bars, and a few restaurants. The views are beautiful! Jacqueline offers a cozy and comfortable place to stay with ample amenities.

The apartment was perfect for our stay on Islay. It was a good central location to the things we wanted to do and walkable to Port Ellen.

We really enjoyed our stay. We took a cab from Port Askaig late at night and the cab driver was familiar with the place, which made it easy to find. I had also scoped it out online in advance, so I knew what to look for. Without that, I think it would have been a bit more of a challenge figuring out exactly which unit was the one we were supposed to go to, but it all worked out. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy walk to the restaurants and the ferry. The bus runs past the unit and I think we could have just flagged down the driver if we didn't use the bus stop. An e-bike rental place is nearby and that came in very useful for exploring the area around Port Ellen. Overall, we recommend.
