Experience the convenience and charm of Charleston by staying at the Sunflower Suite. This 1860's renovated historic home is located just two blocks from Upper King, and within walking distance of all the city's top attractions. Leave your car behind and enjoy everything Charleston has to offer on foot. Permit Number: 04374 The Sunflower Suite is a lovely two-bedroom, two-bathroom historic home in the heart of downtown Charleston, perfect for groups of four. You’ll enter the property through the home’s front entrance, where you’ll step into a foyer that feeds into the open living, dining, and kitchen. In the main living space, a comfortable seating area faces one of the home’s original fireplaces and a large flat screen TV. French doors line the wall from the living room into the kitchen, and open onto the first-floor piazza, a hallmark of Charleston architecture. Stepping into the adjacent kitchen, you’ll find a fully equipped space with stainless steel appliances as well as another original fireplace, centering this as the hearth of the home. The eat in kitchen also includes a dining table with seating for four. Head upstairs to find the space’s two bedrooms. The first bedroom includes a king-sized bed, exposed brick fireplace and an ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and claw foot bathtub. The second bedroom also features a king-sized bed, an ensuite with a clawfoot tub, and a vanity area, perfect for getting ready to hit the town. Both the first floor and second floor piazzas are for your private use and include dining and seating areas to make the most of Charleston’s lovely weather and offer a great space to plan out your day and evening activities. There is dedicated off street parking in the back of the property, however it is a tight driveway and may be unsuitable for large trucks or SUVs.

We chose this Airbnb for our couples vacation because it had two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Furthermore, it is walking distance from Kings Street which is the main downtown/tourist attraction of Charleston. The pictures don’t do justice to the spacious well decorated Airbnb. There is a certain charm that comes with an old style bathtub shower and double porches. The high ceiling bedroom with viridian walls and white moldings are an absolute dream to me. As someone who has been burned by airbnbs lacking basics such as towels, soap, and pillows I can assure you this is well stocked. There were four towels and four pillows per couple, in addition to soap. There is good air conditioning, washer dryer, and a full kitchen. Two quick thoughts to future guests (1) bring your own makeup remover wipes to keep all linens and towels white (2) This is close enough to the nightlife that you can enjoy it and you definitely will hear it.

This Airbnb was exactly as described. It's very spacious and perfect for two couples. As the listing says, there is some outside noise but there are white noise machines in both bedrooms and it didn't bother our group. The blinds do let in a fair bit of light as the streetlights are illuminated all night long so I would recommend a sleep mask if that's an issue. The two porch areas were fabulous for unwinding with a cold beer after a long day of walking and exploring. I would absolutely stay at this Airbnb again.

Great place in a great location, host was easy to communicate with. Very clean and private. Would recommend this place! It is loud, as the place is old. They provided sound machines as well. All in all, a great location with parking!
