SPACECRAFT X DESIGN OBJECTS…SPACES....ENVIRONMENTS SPACECRAFT X DESIGN is a full service renovation interior x exterior design/build studio in Halcottsville, NY that specializes in remodeling homes for photo/rental ready for weekend home owners from inception, ideation through implementation. The scope of the projects range from full gut renovations, new home additions, kitchen x bath remodels, landscaping design, interior decor to bespoke furniture x objects. With a keen eye on current x evolving design trends but a decided proclivity for a less trend driven approach x a more timeless aesthetic that is formulated by a deep understanding of the clients x properties inherent nature x needs. SCX is a multi-disciplinarian studio that executes projects with 5 cross pollinating roles in tandem or singular according to the needs or stages brought in. 1. INTERIOR ARCHITECT: reconfiguring the old layouts or crafting new spaces x custom builds. 2. INTERIOR DESIGNER: Choosing the objects of the remodeled space relevant to build. 3. INTERIOR DECORATOR: choosing the decor objects of the finished remodeled space. 4. LANDSCAPE DESIGNER: Synthesizing the interior x exterior environments into a holistic vision. 5. GENERAL CONTRACTOR/ PROJECT MANAGER: Overseeing all timing x execution with subcontractors. *All projects are solidified on working boards used as visual communication tools for clients x to help maintain a cohesive x synergistic thread from the macro end product to the micro details x finishing work. The future forward upgrade investments ultimately optimizes income for second home owners by increasing nightly rental rates or re-sale value of the home through the value add cumulative lens effect of design. SCX collaborates with local Catskills mountains lumber mills, engineers, contractors, lighting designers, craftsmen x craftswomen to create x transform the ordinary x overlooked objects, spaces x environments into something extraordinary. SPACECRAFTX 1 is a transformed single wide trailer/ mobile home x is an early CRAFTed SPACE project of SCX inspired by the renovations of shipping containers into modern glass dwellings.
