Patricia and Bruce are lovely people and this would be a wonderful holiday home for anyone looking to stay in the area. Always responded to queries quickly and kindly. The home was immaculate on arrival and the furniture cosy and comfortable. A wonderful little find.

Beautiful, spacious cottage in a lovely, peaceful location. Very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The standard of furnishings, fittings and appliances is top class, we couldn't have wanted better. With a lovely big, comfortable bed and cosy sitting room, the whole place has a calm, homely atmosphere. As well as the pretty seating area outside the cottage, there was a small private garden with seating, next to our parking space. We enjoyed relaxing there in the evenings, after busy days sightseeing. Our hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful; it was a real pleasure to meet them. We hope to return next year!

A fantastic holiday home. Very clean and comfortable (bed and sofa.) Exactly as described. Wonderfully peaceful and beautiful walks from the doorstep. Pat was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if coming to this area and can highly recommend this host and accommodation.

I stays in Patricia's place for over two months in between house moves. It was a beautiful cottage with everything you could want and wish for. I was warm and cosy and a real home from home. I would have no problem in recommending Ruperts Retreat for a stay for any length of time and at any time of year. Patricia and Bruce are wonderful hosts and could not do enough to help me.
