Mandy's place is beautiful and comfortable, with everything we needed for a week-long stay. She was sympathetic and helpful when the airline lost our luggage and their delivery company seemed clueless. The location is up in the hills and very peaceful, with a lovely view of Mount's Bay. We had some very nice (but hilly!) walks while there.
We loved staying at Mandy's place. It's a very nice and peaceful location with a beautiful view to the sea. Easy walk to large supermarkets and plenty of places to visit nearby. The chalet was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, with very good heating if you're staying out of season as we did. Mandy was a very nice and helpful host, and makes sure you get there safely and have a relaxing time. Kids loved the ping-pong and games sets which kept them (and us!) occupied and happy. We would recommend and love to come back.
The lodge is in the perfect location to explore the far reaches of Cornwall and exactly why we booked. Tucked up into the hillside the views are spectacular of both the woodland you're nestled in and down over the bay. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the lodge is and given the rain and wind it was snug and dry. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone and would certainly consider revisiting again. Excellent friendly hosts who even provide photos with their directions so that you can find their lovely lodge.

This place is just so wonderful - such a peaceful idyllic location with the most beautiful view of the sea. A great cosy base to come back to after a day of Cornish adventures, and also perfect for rainy days when your day out is cut short by the great British weather, so many games to play together (or plenty of space for everyone to chill independently). Mandy is an exemplary host, very quick to respond and very friendly, it’s like staying in the home of a friend. It’s not the first time we’ve stayed here and it certainly won’t be the last! ❤️

Hello, I live with my partner Ronnie on a 3 acre smallholding overlooking beautiful Mounts Bay. As well as growing vegetables and flowers, I work as a TA in the local village school, just a 5 minute walk down the hill. My grandchildren are regular visitors and they love playing in the woods and with the rabbits and chickens! When I'm not in my garden I enjoy most craft activities and cooking with the produce I have grown. I love reading (as you will see if you come and stay at the Lodge!) Ronnie and I love walking on the coast path and hope that we will be able to do much more of this in the future, I wouldn't describe us as hardened walkers though as our trips are planned around regular stops for pub lunches , cream teas and picnics!
