Fenomenale BnB! Maria is een geweldige verhuurder: super vriendelijk, behulpzaam, attent en zeer goed communicatief. Had vele tips, nodigde me uit voor een drankje en ontfermde zich over mij. Kwam in de avond aan, er was drinken aanwezig en ze had zelfs lasagne achtergelaten. Het is een schattig Andalusisch huis, met een werkelijk geweldig dakterras. Hier heb ik vele dagen enorm genoten Ik had het geluk dat de parade van het Driekoningen feest langs het huis kwam, super om daar te volgen. In het huis is alles aanwezig en als ergens aan zou ontbreken regelt ze het direct. Locatie: het huis ligt mooi centraal in Vèlez, dichtbij zijn allerlei winkels en highlights om te bezoeken, gemakkelijk te belopen. Het strand in Torre is dichtbij, dus je hebt alles. In de regio ligt perfect om omliggende steden zoals Malaga, Granada, Marbella etc te bezoeken. Doordat het huis aan doorgaande weg ligt is het zoals anderen vermeld hebben wat luidruchtig, maar hier raak na kleine week zo aangewend

I had a wonderful stay at Maria's lovely little casa. Her home was clean and fresh and has all that you need for a comfortable,  homely stay. The roof terrace is a fab place to start the day with a brew and the fresh morning air. In the evening it's beautiful to watch the sun go down and relax with a nice glass of sangria. Velez-Malaga itself is a lovely, friendly town. The house was close to lots of cafes, shops and public transport. It was so easy and cheap to get to the beach at Torre del Mar. Maria was so kind and helpful, showing me how everything worked when I arrived and giving me tips on local transport and where to eat/shop etc. She responded really quickly, too, whenever I had any questions. She even, very hospitably, invited me for lunch at the beach with a few of her friends.  It was a great start to my holiday! Thanks so much Maria!

The place was very centric, it was easy to get in, and Maria was really, really responsive. Any small issues we had, she helped very quickly. As a host, I can really recommend her. There were some caveats, though, for example, it says 2 bedrooms, but it's really 1 Bedroom. The second bed is in an in-between room, with stairs on both sides and the other room's door next to the bed, so it's not really private. In the summertime, some nights were too hot to handle on that second bed, where the AC is not reaching from the lower floor. The place also needs a bit more love and care, just small things, but it would probably greatly improve the feeling of the place (proper bedsheets for Bed 2, clear up some clutter upstairs, etc. And another thing - in Summertime, there is WATER SHORTAGE at night time in the whole Velez-Malaga area, but we were not informed, so that was an unpleasant surprise. Nevertheless, Maria did her best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Maria is probably one of the most thoughtful and considerate hosts I’ve stayed with. Super communication! The house is unique in that it’s not the standard modern converted Airbnb’s, but this one has been kept authentic to its surrounding and location. Slightly noisier than I expected but that maybe me being a light sleeper. Thanks to Maria for hosting.

Maria is the most communicative, kind and lovely host we knew! She explained in detail every single thing we need to know and since we reserved the house almost six months ago she keeps in contact with us to explain all the relevant details! Regard the house is a typical Andalucía house and has everything near, such as a supermarket, pharmacy, bus and on. We loved the people in Malaga, the place and the weather! Definitely, I strongly recommend you try this place!
