We loved our stay at Mary's place! The property and surrounding view is beautiful, it was easy to find, and very clear check-in instructions were provided, along with local recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this listing for a peaceful vacation in a gorgeous location!

Beautiful apartment and fantastic hosting. Host was easy to deal with, very responsive, and accommodating. Room was welcoming with a bottle of wine, chocolates, and door was clearly marked with our name. Had a fantastic time and hope to come back soon!

The Sunset Lodge and the hosts, Mary and Dan, were terrific. The rooms were spotless and the host left nice touches like fresh ground coffee, half and half, and baked bread for us to enjoy. The location is beautiful and quiet. I would highly recommend this listing.

Another wonderful stay at Sunset Lodge. Everything was clean, all we needed was there, beautiful grounds surrounding the cottages. Quiet and accommodating.

We had a wonderful time at Mary and Dan’s place in Omena. It is such a pretty piece of land and how fortunate are the guests who get to share it for a little while. The house we stayed in was very clean and Mary and Dan were always willing to communicate and assist us with small requests as well (for example…the use of a wrench for our bike)! Omena bay, a very short walk away, is perfectly calm and great for swimming and kayaking. The general store is cute in town too. From Omena, we were able to get to Suttons Bay and Northport very easily. The Sleeping Bear Dunes were about 45 minutes away and Mission Point was about an hour away. Both were very worth it to visit. After leaving Sunset Lodge, we all agreed that we felt rejuvenated! It is in a beautiful, peaceful part of Michigan. We would love to see it in the fall sometime as well. Thank you, Mary and Dan!! We had a great time in Omena!!
