First off, the reviews about the views are true!!We loved staying at Diego’s place! It was bright, clean, and well appointed. We chose this one because of the reviews and the wrap around balcony and we were not disappointed at all!! Diego was very responsive from the time we booked, throughout our stay, and the day we left! He helped arrange our round trip transportation, which was a blessing because the cab drivers are relentless at the airport. It also helped to be able to hop right in after a flight and long lines at immigration. After a short drive from the airport, we were welcomed by Juan Pablo, who gave us a tour of the resort and our beautiful suite. He also gave us helpful hints about things to do, shopping, restaurants, and transportation. Diego also shared a detailed list of everything prior to our arrival. You have the option of all inclusive for $90 pp. We did that twice! Oxxo store is right across the street. The bus is $1 to get downtown. We’ll be back! Thanks Diego!

This was my first time in Mexico for my girlfriend and I and Diego made it so easy! I highly recommend you take him up on airport pick up and drop off for $70. His driver was so friendly, timely and told us of some great places to eat that only a local would know. Upon arriving we were greeted by his co-host Juan Pablo (sorry if I got the name wrong) He showed us around the compound and explained everything! Even took the time to make sure we understood how the buses work. $1 usd per person per trip, can’t beat that! The space itself was perfect and the views were incredible. Every morning we made breakfast with the eggs bought from the grocery store and enjoyed the beach. For a beautiful sunset date night I highly recommend Navios across the street. Get a 6pm reservation and enjoy the sun setting over the lagoon. When it was time to leave he accommodated a slightly later check out so could time our flight. The same driver was there and got us there on time! Thank you for hosting us!

Unmatched location and amenities, we were able to use the resort pool and beach area, with our own drinks and food - very cost effective way to have a resort experience. We also had the option to pay the resort to go all inclusive if we wanted at a day rate. Hosts were amazing and went above and beyond, personally meeting us at the condo and showing us the ropes. They even organised an airport shuttle for us which, talking to other travellers, was definitely cheaper than what they people paid just stepping off the plane into a random taxi. Cancun taxis are notoriously expensive so we really appreciated this extra help and service. Would 10/10 stay again. Muchos gracias!

Diego’s place was wonderful. Easy check in with Juan Pablo once’s arrived. Very informative. The $1 bus was super easy and convenient. We used it to go to the city’s central where we found amazing authentic food. The restaurants across the road where both yummy. We used Diego’s cooler he provides and bought a Tequila bottle across the street at the OXXO and sat out in the pool and beach front with our own drinks. So many options at Diego’s place. The view of both the lake and ocean were amazing. Don’t forget to book Transportation back to airport. Regular street taxi tried to charge us $85 versus Diego’s price was less than half of that with really friendly driver. Will definitely come back to Diego’s place.

We really enjoyed our stay! The host was very easy to communicate with. Setting up transfer to and from the airport was a breeze. We appreciated being able to check-in early and check-out was simple with little expected from us. Adding the all-inclusive option was convenient. Shower was nice and warm. We liked waking up with balcony view!
