Cute little cottage. Comfortable and great location. Fridge and stove could be updated but both worked fine so no real complaints. Deb was great for the most part. The check in instructions on the site were out dated but she lives next door so came right over when I messaged her. She was very friendly and even invited me to walk with her in the morning. The only real issue I had was when a wire came down and was lying across the driveway. I messaged Deb and asked if there was any where else I could park (thinking maybe grass beside her house or something). She responded that she was out to lunch but would come look at it. Problem was that I was literally sitting in my car at the beach waiting for her to come out so we could discuss what I should do. Instead I watched her come out of her house, check her mail and get in her car and drive away. I waited about 15 minutes and finally just drove over the wire. It was over an hour before I heard from her….she didn’t know I drove over it.

Deb was an absolute pleasure to have for a host! We immediately upon booking felt welcomed, and we were right at home on the first night! The atmosphere and surrounding areas are truly unique in this quiet part of town; just close enough to many great venues and restaurants but still far enough you can enjoy some solitude and nature at the cottage. I'm so grateful for how much time we got to enjoy our stay, Cedar Beach Cottage will keep a special memory for us for years to come! Thanks again Deb! ♥️

Deb’s cottage was cozy and just what we needed for our Thanksgiving stay visiting family in the area. She allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was super generous. I loved being able to walk along the beautiful shore of Lake Erie throughout our stay!

Perfectly adorable cottage for one person or a couple. Deb was great— friendly & helpful. The cottage was extremely well- equipped and well-appointed. Just across the road from the shore and lighthouse.
