John met us upon check-in and gave us a wonderful tour of the campground. He was great! Guests have access to canoes and kayaks on the canal, and there was a campfire setup and waiting for us (even though we didn't take advantage!). The place is just what we expected – really eclectic, welcoming, and gave us a bit of a 'roughing it' feel, but with the comfort of a bed, which served us well after several days of tent camping on hard ground. The place is great and we'd certainly recommend for a fun stay! A few sidebars... the shower water wasn't warm, but no big deal because it was really refreshing so we didn't mind. There is also a frog pond right outside the tent which we loved, but they were SUPER loud each night. It was totally fine, but I'd recommend earplugs for light sleepers, which we brought and slept great both nights. Being the middle of July — it's hot outside regardless — but we zipped the windows down and both nights the breeze was very pleasant. We slept with our own sleeping bags and pillows on the bed. We would definitely recommend if you enjoy camping and a fun and eclectic spot! The 'campground' was amongst 3-4 other campsites, and on a main road but set back. Seneca Lake wineries were a mere 10 minute drive, and the site was perfect for our cycling loop around the whole lake, which totaled about 83miles. Close to the center of Geneva too! Very cute set up. Very nice host. They gave a great tour When you arrive. We really enjoyed staying here. We would definitely go back again.

This is a great location. Watching the full moon rise over the water was a pleasant surprise.

Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Tent was secluded with our own fire pit. Fire wood was delivered both nights. Definitely had the feel of camping yet having a fridge, microwave, toaster etc etc and an outhouse with a shower and toilet made it a bit more comfortable. The canal was great. Perfect temp for a dip. They have plenty of kayaks and canoes. And an aluminum row boat with a trolling motor. Bring your fishing equipment tho as their selection for use was limited. (We brought out own). Overall we were happy with our stay. Relaxing, fishing, kayaking and campfire was just what we were looking for.

The campsite is delightful, the water in the lake is clean and the absolute perfect temperature for this time of year, it is a refreshing outdoors experience without the hassle of getting your own camping equipment together
