The apartment is in a nice lively area, close to restaurants and bars and the underground. It's a good size and well equipped, apart from maybe needing a couple of fans as it's really warm on the 4th floor. It would benefit from a little TLC, especially the flooring and skirting boards. The roof terrace is lovely but noisy, overlooking the train tracks. The bathroom is great with a good shower and large mirrors. Overall good value and we had a lovely stay.

At a glance, the apartment is nice. But once we walk through, there are some issues like the door knobs being loose and the bedroom doors not shutting all the way. Some of the floor boards are not leveled and scratched. The view from the balcony and the kitchen area were impressive despite the imperfections of the apartment.

The good - June was perfect as a host, the location is great, getting in was simple, the balcony is nice. The bad - this place is shabby. The floor is coming up, the laminate worn through to the chipboard in places, all the skirting is chipped and scuffed, with a whole piece missing and the plasterboard missing to the brickwork. The fridge is missing all shelves and door plastic, so is pretty unusable, the door to the freezer section is also missing so anything you put in there gets frozen. Kitchen doors are hanging off. The door handles are all loose with the one to bedroom two being totally bodged. The walls in bedroom two are filthy, with scuffs and handprints, it needs repainting. The bed/mattress in bedroom two is broken and dips into the middle. The mattress in bedroom one is extremely cheap and thin, the frame is damaged and creaks. There is no lock on the bathroom door, all the thresholds are just bits of plastic placed on the floor not attached so just get stuck under the doors and find their way around the rooms. Considering how simple a lick of paint, replacing some door handles, fridge, mattresses and a bit of flooring is it’s illuminated that the owners choose not to and let it as it is, I wonder what state the place will be in when they finally choose to do the work they should?

A great little flat that just needs a little freshening up as is a little worn in places but worked for our family of 4. Location is great, check in super easy and great communication from June from start to finish. Would stay again.
