stunning location to walk, rock climb and enjoy the local pub The Grampus where food, staff and atmosphere was faultless. The shack was just a funky private getaway and host superb. Will definitely book again!!

Kate and Angus were tremendously kind and accommodating hosts, and made our (too short!) artistic getaway a beautifully personal experience with lovely conversations and a little walk through the woods. Thanks again for everything!

Had a wonderful stay in the 'Africa' cabin - very cosy, a peaceful night's sleep, really nicely decorated and a great setting amidst the sights sounds and smells of nature. If I visit North Devon again, I'll be coming straight back here and hopefully for a few more nights! I was made to feel very welcome by Kate, Grace and Angus and other family/friends who I bumped into, and had no trouble contacting anyone before or during the booking. The location of Lee has some brilliant walks, views and a lovely bay, plus a great local community - I had a fab time meeting some of the locals and attending a play and the pub's open mic night. Highly recommended!

We loved Lee, and the Africa (the cabin) is very beautiful and cozy. We slept very well. Warm and silent. Peaceful. Perhaps, just in case wintery travellers, be aware the toilet and shower is outside, but not close to the cabin. You have to walk down, turn around behind the house and there's not light there. We actually didn't use the shower as was just for two nights. When good weather I believe this place is 100 per cent worth it and stunning. We loved hearing the owls, rain, and wind. We loved it there X thank you.
