I hoped Airbnb would allow me to share photos. The place is tiny, and it seems the owner just wants to provide everything listed to make it attractive. I had a horrible experience. I work in the area for two-week periods, so I use Airbnb to be more comfortable with all my requirements. I searched, filtered, and chose this one based on comments. The main issue is the small size (about 9x9 ft), with no bed. The sofa turns into a bed for one person, but it's uncomfortable. Imagine such a small space with a washer/dryer in your face, next to a sink. There's no closet, just some hangers. It lists an iron, but there's nowhere to iron. It's listed as a house with a kitchen, but there's only a vertical electric stove attached to the wall. Even if you find a way to connect it horizontally, your clothes will smell like the food you cook. I tried to cancel but was told no refund would be given. I felt like I was in jail for two weeks. Upon checking in, it was a rainy night & I struggled to open the gate as I wasn’t fully familiar with the combination system. Xenia came out straight away after I messaged her & helped me in & also helped me into the main door. It required a bit more strength as the gate had expanded with the rain Any question I had, for example the WiFi/Sofa bed details, it was never a long wait, she usually immediately responded. I was still struggling with the gate due to the weather (which was beyond Xenia’s control) and upon asking, she had someone round to get that sorted. I had other questions & they were all seen to promptly & that’s what really stood out about my host. Her grounds person Joe who came to fix things is also a very friendly, warm and helpful. The location here was A* as everything is walkable. Which is why, I booked another house (as I wanted a kitchen & bath for long term stay) on the same street with Xenia. I felt if I needed help, I would get my queries handled.

I was on business in the Bay Area for 4 weeks and am so happy that I chose to stay at Xenia's place! It was perfectly located for my needs, and parking was close to the unit and always available. The place was perfectly designed to have everything you need fit in a small space. I especially appreciated the combo washer/drier as I was there for a long stay. Xenia's was friendly, had great recommendations, and checked in regularly. I would definitely stay there again!
