Fantastic host!

This was a remarkable find for our unusual needs: after selling the family home where Thanksgiving had been held for nearly four decades, we needed a venue to gather. Some of us needed to stay there, others lived nearby; so adding our total attendees meant a big space with enough sleeping rooms for about half of us. The beautiful home is spacious but cozy, well appointed, tastefully decorated, and so very comfortable. From the towels and linens, to the seating areas, to the enormous kitchen island (that will accommodate 22 people standing around it -- we tested!), no element has been overlooked. Even with six cooks, we had enough of everything to make a fantastic holiday meal. And the hall swing, massage chair, hair shampoo bowl, and sauna were all tested to our satisfaction as well!

Staying at The Balsley House and being hosted by Clive are the best it can be on Airbnb. The house and all of its amenities are amazing, the surrounding area is the best Dayton has to offer, and Clive is an absolute joy. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to book this space and prepare yourself for an exceptional experience!

I had the opportunity to visit all types of places and this place really stood out with its architecture and history. Also Clive was a gentlemen and host on a different level. He gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and bars. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Matt
