Doug was a very accommodating host. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He even put out some decorations to make our graduate feel special. He checked on us daily to be sure we didn’t need anything and responded immediately when I had a question. The large kitchen island was perfect and inviting. Overall the home was a great place to stay to participate in Penn States graduation.

Great location & home for a Penn State weekend. The open floor plan allowed us to all gather while there were also options for privacy. Easy to get to the stadium & downtown. Large drive way made it easy for the whole group to park.

Doug's place was fantastic! Perfect layout for our four couples visiting kids at State College for a football game. Kitchen island with seating, big dining table, large living room with huge sectional couch & screened-in porch made the perfect hangout spaces on a rainy weekend. Flat top grill was excellent too for cooking eggs in the morning and fajitas at night! Location could not have been better! The surprise custom football gift was a nice touch. Really the only very minor negative was finding space for clothes and pantry items. All of the closets and dresser drawers were taped off as well as the pantry cabinets in the kitchen. The addition of foyer and bathroom hooks would have helped in finding a place to hang raincoats and sweatshirts and putting away the non-refrigerated food we brought in. Really minor quibbles though!! The weekend was excellent and our whole group hopes to return again next year!!!

Doug was a great host for our weekend in State College. Easy to access off the highway, in a quiet neighborhood, and less than 10 minutes to the football stadium. Stayed with a group of 6 adults and 2 kids, would stay here again

This is the perfect house for a Penn State football weekend. The home had everything our group needed. Doug is also a great host who was very responsive.
