Deena is a kind and generous host who went above and beyond to make me feel at home during my stay in Dover. Not only did she make coffee every morning and offer apple cider donuts, she also gave great recommendations for local food, forest trails, and farms. Her dogs are energetic, sweet, and very friendly. I never had to wait to use the shared bathroom and my bedroom was very quiet for sleeping. The back porch is an excellent place to relax and birdwatch in the mornings and evenings. On one of my last days I even spotted a bald eagle flying along the river! Such a beautiful place overlooking the Bellamy River Wildlife Sanctuary.

These things can be a gamble. Deena was nothing short of wonderful. What a sweet woman, kind, helpful, accommodating, dedicated to her guests having a fantastic experience. Stunning location. So grateful.

Had a great, albeit brief, stay at Deena’s place! A peaceful little haven, but still close enough to the highway for easy access (despite its proximity, I didn’t experience any highway noise at all) and a very friendly and welcoming host. There was even a lovely little “welcoming committee” of the resident dogs! The place was exactly what I needed for a quick stopover to see a friend— a clean, peaceful place to rest my head— though if I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely love to stay for longer!

Beautiful place, friendly host, large bathroom. The view of the river was breath taking. There is a dock in the backyard with a kayak and paddleboard. The dogs were very friendly. Deena was very helpful and responsive and went above and beyond.

Deena’s place was awesome! What a view! Close to a fun growing community & right on the river for water sports or relaxing. She was a great host! I’d love to return!
