We had a lovely stay in the cabin, Jane had thought of everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The cabin was lovely and warm, plenty of logs, kindling and everything else needed to get the fire started were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sheep in the field each day, they were very friendly! We hope to stay again in the future

Went as a short break with my partner, mainly to ride MTB at Glentress and to have a couple of relaxing nights. Hut was nice and warm and had everything we needed. The bike storage is on the poor side, its very small and struggled to get our 2 medium sized bikes in, and the lock is poor, if I'd known I would of took my own chain and lock. Also take wellies or be prepared for a walk across a hilly churned up field from your car to the hut, it made carrying our stuff in and out a pain. Those are minor points and probably only apply if you have expensive bikes and carrying too many clothes/food/drinks like us. I'd stay again.

This was just a great experience. Having at the shepherds hut was lovely. Unfortunately it was extremely windy so the single use barbeque had to be helped with some firelighters so I do recommend you bring your own charcoal as BBQ facilities are available. Stewart was also kind enough to help me change my car's tire as we had a blowout less than a mile before reaching the cabin. Great job Jane and Stewart on running such a lovely cabin. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We had a brilliant time in the Shepard's hut which is far bigger than we expected. Jane couldn't have been any better, very responsive and had given us plenty of recommendations. The sheep weren't in the field due to lambing earlier than expected but we got a to visit them in the shed which was magical. Overall highly recommend and hopefully be back!!
