Catherine’s gite complex was great, it was a really good size with 3 bedrooms large enough for our family of 6. The kitchen/dining area was very large with a nice big sofa and a smart tv so we could pop some Netflix on for the kids in the morning! The kitchen was so well equipped with every pot, pan and utensil you could possibly need and plenty of cups, mugs, bowls and crockery. The swimming pool was a good size and nice and warm for the kids to play in, plus gated off to make it safe. There was also a large trampoline, and a table tennis table in the garden, and a plum tree that had hundreds of delicious plums you could pick yourself! The only downside is that you can’t walk anywhere- you need to drive to get anywhere, even to the nearest shop/ bakery (which is only a few minutes drive). The Dordogne is so close and there are plenty of canoeing rental options and riverside beaches you can head to for a swim. A really lovely place to be!

Lovely quiet location and pool. Nearby canoeing is fantastic and many other sites within a few kilometers.

Catherine nous a accueillis chaleureusement et a été très disponible tout au long du séjour. Ses apéritifs avec tous ses hotes ont permis de créer du lien et de la convivialité ! Merci à elle

We stayed for almost 2 weeks in Aug 2020 in gite 'Emelyne' with our children 14, 12 and 10. The gite complex is beautiful. Our gite was clean and very well equipped and also had a lovely outside patio area. The pool is large, deep enough for older children to enjoy and has a lovely seating area around it. The garden area with trampoline, table tennis and badminton was also good. Catherine is an excellent host who was very welcoming and explained local events we could attend. She also hosts a weekly 'cocktail evening' to welcome her guests which was a fun and sociable evening. The location is very close to many of the Dordogne's highlights. We would be keen to return.
