Nigel is an exceptionally accomodating host and always ready to help. The flat is pristine, cosy and spacious, and the breakfast offered is first class! I had such a glorious stay in Buxton and would highly recommend the Goyte valley and walks around Tideswell and Litton Mill. I hope to come again soon!

Lovely flat in a quiet part of town, but just a few minutes walk from the centre. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to the private bedroom that Nigel also lists on Airbnb, which was very nice, though the sofa-bed looked like it would have been a very comfortable option as well (though with a bit less privacy!) Very welcome gin and tonic offered on arrival, and nice selection of breakfast options in the morning.

Nigel was a great host, accommodating me after a long day cycling. Beer was ready for me in the fridge, apartment close to the centre perfect facilities and a friendly host to have a good conversation with, couldn’t have asked for more.

Nigel was a superb host, the location of his apartment is great, it is only a short walk into the town, but then again I love walking. His home is warm and welcoming, and Nigel even offered to share his lasagne with me, very kind indeed. As it was he joined me for an Italian meal in Buxton , which turned out to be a very good choice of venue. Many thanks again Nigel for your hospitality.
