The room itself is quiet and tranquil. There is a ceiling fan for warm Karoo nights and a heater for the cooler winter months. In the room you will find a queen bed, small fridge, basic crockery, cutlery and glasses but no facilities for food preparation. We provide tea/coffee, milk, rusks and filtered water as well as snack basket and instant oats for breakfast. There are also takeaway options in town should you want to bring something back after a long day of sightseeing. Ice is available on request. In the event of electricity loadshedding you won't be without overhead lighting or hot water as we have solar power and a gas geyser. We share our home with a small dog, Milo who is incredibly laid back and two chickens, Gertrude and Mildred free-range in the garden from time to time. For guests who are touring we offer a laundry service for which we levy a small charge and we request that guests let us know on arrival if they will need to do some laundry.
