Isolated and peaceful, Ardvergnish is in the middle of nature, with the slopes of Ben More to the north and an estuary to the south. Wildlife everywhere! Fiona was extremely helpful and the cottage was spacious and comfortable. I would certainly recommend and would love to return (for a longer period).

In a word, Ardvergnish Cottage is "perfect". Located is spectacular isolation at the foot of the 922m Ben More, Ardvergnish Cottage is sited for the local sights at Tiroran, Gribun, Carsaig, Loch Buie as well as the southern beaches near Fionnphort/ Iona. A wonderful base from which to strike out to explore the island ... and to return to after a day of walking, sight seeing or as on my last day climbing the Ben! Really well kitted out and although we did not suffer from rain etc, I did note that the Cottage has all the necessary drying kit if that was the case. A larger than normal kitchen was very well set out, the bedrooms/ beds elicited much praise and the shower/ bathroom was spotless. A large sitting room with views up to the summit of Ben More was great. And thank you for the excellent Wifi and TV reception. Felt very much and welcomed in from the first minute. Situation incroyable au milieu de nul part… et au milieu des moutons. Paysage sublime, réveil avec les cerfs et les moutons. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une météo exceptionnelle et des petits agneaux par dizaines. Idéal pour rayonner sur l’île de Mull

Fantastic place to stay, surrounded by rolling hills, streams and fantastoc views no matter where you look. Cottage was incredibly clean and tidy, plenty provided to keep you occupied during the evenings and the caretakers we're so very helpful and friendly given my car being written off on the journey up. My travel companions and I wouldn't r hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here on Mull, you won't find anywhere better or hosted by such fantastic people!
