Great location and very comfortable house for a reasonable cost. The hosts were very responsive to questions we had after check-in. I would recommend this house to others.

Our stay in Avila was amazing! The house was perfect for our 4 girlfriend reunion. The house was decorated with a darling beach vibe, kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. Great location for touring Hearst Castle and visiting SLO as well as Avila Beach. The owners were very responsive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. The end of our stay coincided with a massive storm that pummeled the Central Coast. Due to 101 road closures, landslides, torrential rains and high winds further south, we extended our stay to avoid travel in dangerous conditions. Jim and Michelle were the first to alert us to the travel hazards and graciously allowed us to stay 2 extra nights until it was safe to travel home. Their kindness and generosity was truly incredible and greatly appreciated. We can’t say enough good things about the house, the perfect walkable beach location, and the owner’s superb communication throughout. We will absolutely stay here again!

We loved staying at this lovely cottage in Avila Beach! The decor and furnishings are cozy and comfortable... "beachy" style and art without being overdone. Very nice sitting area in the backyard. Nice location with a 5 minute or less walk to the water, shops, and restaurants. Jim and Michelle are very friendly and responsive. If I could own a beach house... I'd want this one.

We had the best time in Avila Beach! It is the most beautiful spot in the world. The house was so comfortable and perfectly appointed. The hosts were very communicative and the house was very clean and very comfortable. We took the boogie boards to the beach and jumped in the Pacific Coast waves. It was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. We enjoyed the French restaurant on the beachfront. We enjoyed the sun and sand and even walked the beach at night. We felt perfectly safe. I would definitely recommend this lovely home and this piece of paradise to everyone!
