Can't recommend this stay enough. Stunning views and pristine accommodation. Really peaceful and relaxing just watching the views change from the floor to ceiling windows. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Would love to return.

Wow! The most welcoming and thoughtful host! We asked for a slightly earlier check in and Maggie was happy to oblige-it meant she knew exactly when to expect us, so met us on arrival and had the log fire going as well as the wood fired hot tub ready to go! We were greeted with lovely treats, including a bottle of bubbles chilling in the fridge, organic porridge oats which are made on the farm and biscuits! Maggie was really helpful with recommendations of places to go and things to do and we enjoyed getting the train to Edinburgh one day. I mentioned it was my sons birthday during our visit-on departure, Maggie came to say goodbye and brought a present for my son! And so she didn’t feel left out, also gave my daughter a beautiful gift of pansy seeds, stickers and small animal toys!! A truly beautiful place and wonderful host. Would highly recommend

Beautiful cabin with a lovely view. Well appointed. Absolutely spotless. Wonderful hosts. There was no lighting around the hut tub, so bring a head torch or outdoor candles if you want to sit and star-gaze!

Wow, where to start! This hideaway was the perfect place for me and my family to spend new year! Maggie and Archie were the perfect hosts, communicating regularly, helping us to the lodge when we couldn’t quite find it, and having our hottub and log burner already lit waiting for our arrival. The location was amazing, peaceful and private, yet only 5 minutes from the town and shops. I honestly couldn’t recommend the hosts or the hideaway any higher, and we can’t wait to book again in the future!
