We were two couples staying for 5 days at Alejandra's place and found the house delightful to spend time in. The house is well laid out so we were able to cohabitate without friction. The kitchen is well equipped and had all we needed to cook and even do some light baking. Tastefully decorated, the common areas are worth hanging out at. Not that we needed to cook at all with the fabulous restaurants around La Juanita, nor spend too much time in the house because of the nearby beaches, bookstore, shopping and day-trip worthy attractions nearby. The host had two people available at all times for our needs. They reached out in advance and proactively checked in on us during the stay. Definitely a great experience.

During our stay, the airbnb was broken into and all our electronics were stolen, as well as 2 passports. I tried to contact Alejandra's assistant, but did not hear back. We moved to a hotel for the next two nights. Alejandra's assistant reached out to me the following day when I was at the police station reporting the incident. She apologized for the incident and offered a security team to watch guard overnight. We had already booked a hotel and we did not feel safe staying in the airbnb, so we did not take her up on this. I asked Alejandra for a partial refund a few days later, and she declined, stating her assistant had already checked in with us. She was not particularly empathetic to what occurred at her property and did not offer recourse. The ring camera outside was not functioning. I worked with the police to track the robbers using the electronics, but they were unsuccessful. ABB customer support was good throughout the process, but I would've expected a better host response.
