Firefly Farm: A Slice of Tranquility and Hospitality Hosted by the wonderful Alex and Val, this farm stay surrounded by sheep, alpacas, and chickens is nature's paradise. Alex's insightful farm tour, including the veggie patch and feeding sessions, delighted both adults and kids alike. Watching our kids feeding the animals was a heartwarming sight, and Alex's patience and knowledge made the experience not only enjoyable but also educational. The stunning sunrise and sunset views provided a breathtaking backdrop to our stay. Poh, the adorable resident dog, added an extra layer of charm to our visit. Alex and Val's warmth made us feel right at home, and Alex's cooking skills left us wanting more. From the dal makhani to the veg bolognese and freshly baked bread, every meal was a delight. Our time here was truly memorable, and we're already longing to return to this haven of peace, nature, and wonderful hosts. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommended!!

What a wonderful place to stay to get away from it all. We honestly don’t have a negative thing to say about Alex and Val’s place. It was so lovely and perfect for our 4 and 8 year old. They loved interacting with the chickens, sheep and alpacas (and Jarrah and Po). The barn has been freshly renovated and everything was pristine. Comfortable beds, clean linen, not to mention the freshly baked bread that Alex delivered when we arrived. Photos don’t do the place justice on the listing! We would 100% recommend this place to anyone and hope to return again on our next journey up from Sydney.

The photos say it all. It’s very accurate to the actual place. You’ll first be welcomed by the fur friends Ollie and Angel, while Po just elegantly wait for you at the door. We have our own entrance to the bedroom, and private bathroom is a plus. Like other guests mentioned, do try Alex’s wholesome cooking! We also get to feed the alpacas, chickens and sheepies and saw some regent bowerbirds! It’s a shame we didn’t get to spend much time with Val herself but the couple themselves are very compassionate we enjoyed very much our stay there. Definitely stay for min 2 nights to embrace this magical place of theirs!

So lovely to be back at Alex and Val's beautiful sanctuary... We feel so welcome here and they are extraordinarily hospitable and thoughtful hosts. We got our chicken-cuddling fix for the year but we'll definitely be back to visit them, and the array of gorgeous farm friends and bird life again. Highly recommended for peace and quiet lovers and animal cuddlers alike!

Alex & Val were perfect hosts. They have a great location, very friendly, lovely animals & have a great outlook moving froward with further renovations to their property/accommodation. Would recommend them to anyone.
