I would definitely recommend this place! Markus was the best host I had in all my Airbnb experiences so far. Always helpful and very responsive. He showed us everything we need to know and had some very informative and funny conversations. The accommodation is just as described. The surrounding is so beautiful and calm. You are in the middle of the nature. The garden is wonderful and behind the fence you will find a number of hiking trails and see springboks, monkeys, wild pigs and more from the couch. In Mashishing you will find everything you need. We did a hike in the Blyde River Canyon (nice hiking trails from the "Forever Resort") and I there is much more to explore in the surrounding area. The dirtroad to the lodge is a bit bumpy, but even without a 4x4 (VW Polo Sedan) it didn't give us any challenge. Hopefully until next year, Elias

Great place to relax and unwind. Markus was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed the tranquility and nature on the property. Thank you so much Markus. Alex was away during our stay but Markus made sure that we were comfortable. I look forward to going back there for a weekend. Loved every minute of it.

Lovely place to stay! Felt right at home and the house had everything we needed from a cheese grater to an iron. Stunning views and friendly hosts. Would recommended.
