The Moule a Chique Peninsula is a popular exercise spot and early morning and late afternoon usually sees dozens of people walking or jogging the two miles from Vieux Fort town to the Lighthouse Viewing Point, from where the entire southern half of St Lucia lies at your feet. Also, unscheduled local buses are available 1 mile from the house. They can take you north to Castries and then transfer to another bus to Rodney Bay or west to Laborie and Soufriere.
