Un immense merci à Marialuisa qui nous a accueillis dans une maison remarquable, porteuse d'histoire familiale. Tout au long de la semaine, Marialuisa a été très attentive à notre bien -être. A notre arrivée nous avons trouvé sur la table , pâtes, coulis de tomates maison, confiture, tout pour se régaler après le voyage. Une mention particulière pour la propreté de cette maison, le confort du couchage et la qualité du linge mis à disposition. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. La description faite est fidèle à la réalité qui est saisissante de beauté. La terrasse, face au Vésuve domine le golfe de Naples et offre le soir un spectacle impressionnant.

This home is absolutely beautiful, straight out of a fairytale. The decor is tastefully selected, creating an old world charm. It's very specious providing a quiet corner for everyone even when traveling with a large group. The terrace, overlooking the city, Mt. Vesuvius, castle, and sea, is a view you just can't find anywhere. While at the house, we found ourselves spending most of the time enjoying the views. Marialuisa was a wonderful host. She left us jars of sauce which she made out of produce harvested from her garden, which was perfect since we arrived hungry and were able to prepare it right away. She walked us through the house to show us around. She also shared interesting facts and history about the house which made the experience even better. Even though the house is positioned a bit further from key attractions, all are just a short drive away, but I definitely recommend having a car. Being away from the tourist attractions provides a glimpse into the local culture.

This place is gorgeous without a doubt. The view is stunning. There’s a castle nearby. If you want a little taste of homes 200 yrs ago this is it!! Maria Luisa greeted us with keys and even left us with supplies to make a pasta meal with homemade pasta sauce, including homemade jam. Here are some thoughts. We were here during an unprecedented heat wave. There is no A/C and it was hotter than I’ve ever felt it could be. Not the owners fault but she supplied fans when we contacted her. The home is very difficult to find and on a blind corner where they honk all night so as not to hit one another. You’ll hear that all night. They love fireworks and a church nearby rings the bell all night. It’s loud. Bring ear plugs. If your goal is to see amalfi coast this home is not for you unless you want to drive 1-1 1/2 hr each way each day. But it housed 13 of us very comfortably and had plenty of bathrooms. This is more of a place you should actually just stay. It really is a gem overall.

Marialuisa is a gem. The family home is over 200 years old. She takes pride in keeping it safe and clean and ensuring an amazing experience. She met us to give us a tour of the home and key instructions. The views are spectacular. Home has everything you need. Small markets close by, pizza delivery, and Marialuisa left a welcome basket of her own sauce and jam made from the organic fruits grown in the garden on property. One of the best meals of our trip. We are a party of 15 and stayed for 4 nights. More than enough room to sleep, eat together and relax together. Grazie. bella Marialuisa!
