What a beautiful little home away from home-super clean and cosy, fluffy white towels, nice sheets, simple furnishings and kitchen has everything you need for simple meals and tea. View of the valley is beautiful. Helene and her staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfy-from inviting me out to meals, doing laundry, and helping with some loud neighbors, I felt so well taken care of. It’s not the most private location if there are other guests, but I would come again for the cozy space (perfect for solo or couple traveler), view, and hospitality:)

Un espacio muy acogedor, no pasamos frío, no ocupamos el calefactor de gas, la cabaña es muy calientita y hogareña. Una zona muy privada y tranquila, cuenta con un balcón con una vista super bonita🌟 😍🤌🏽. El agua 🚿 de la regadera cae super bien, funciona muy bien, agua caliente y agua fría 100%🤌🏽.

Pros: Super peaceful, quiet spot in the middle of the woods. If you’re looking for nature (I was!) you’ll love it here. It’s big and private. I loved the patio with the twinkling lights. The woman who cares for the cabin is an absolute sweetheart, she checked in with me every day, helped find me things I needed and even helped me with some cleaning. Just ok: for me the decorations and overall furnishing was really basic. No decorations, no extra mirrors, no cozy pillows. I was able to get some extra blankets when I asked. Cons: lots of barking dogs at night, which I suppose is normal in rural Mexico anywhere. It’s just not silent for being so remote. I would absolutely not do this without a car. It’s at least a 15 to 25 min drive into town and at least a 30 min walk on pretty funky roads. I wouldn’t want to do that walk at night. I had a car so it was fine. Bumpy roads but do-able. The kitchen is a joke. It’s just a hot plate and a tiny assortment of dishes. I struggled to make myself eggs in the morning. If you have any aspirations of staying in and cooking something gourmet you’d be challenged too.

Great location just out of town. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings in nature. Hosts were very available for anything I needed during my stay.
