This is beatiful and spacious apartment, well appointed with all necessities, even an Espresso coffee with milk foamer. There is a wonderful view overlooking Tavira and the 3 bridges over the river. The outdoor would be wonderful in the warmer weather. The walk into town, and home again, will keep you fit especially with the 82 steps on the way home. We loved staying here.

The apartment is sunny and open plan, very comfortable and well equipped. Kitchen and laundry equipment of very high standard. Beds very comfortable and towels and linen plentiful and quite new. We felt very much at home immediately. Our hostess was away at the time of our arrival and we were met by a lady who did a fair job of explaining things. The location takes a little getting used to as it seems to be far from the centre of the town. Very quickly one can be surprised at how easy and pleasant it is to walk to the centre if one is fit enough to negotiate the steps down the hilliside, so we could walk to restaurants and attractions and enjoy the exercise. Nevertheless, although we had intended to take a holiday from driving, we were very happy to have rented a car for the duration of our stay. We plan to return next year. What clearer a statement can be made.

Tineke's apartment was a real find. Just as described and pictured. Great beds, two very nice bathrooms and user friendly kitchen. Free parking on the street in a friendly and clean neighborhood. Short walk to old town and numerous restaurants. Beaches nearby and shopping for groceries (Lidls). We were only two but plenty of room for another couple. We ate out each night (quite afforable) but used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch. If the Algarve is on your "to do" list or a repeat visit, Tavira is a wonderful, easy to use town and Tineke"s place is highly recommensded. You will like it.

The apartment was fantastic and matched the description. It is a little walk from town, but parking was not a problem. The views and amenities were fantastic. I felt like I was at home. the kitchen has all the basics so that cooking breakfast in the morning was not an issue.
