We had a great stay for one week at ‘A Nossa Casinha’. The apartment is stylish, clean, well equiped. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful terrace. Location is great if you are looking for a relaxed holiday, Santa Luzia has multiple good restaurants at walking distance and nice beaches nearby. Communication with the host was great and Eduarda was very welcoming on our arrival.

We had a lovely stay in Santa Luzia. The house is comfortable and well equipped, including nespresso and milk frother which was great for our morning coffee on the terrace. We also appreciated that beach towels were provided, and there are beach chairs and umbrellas if you want to use them. The terrace is amazing, and we enjoyed relaxing there in the afternoon, although there was a bit of noise due to proximity of other houses and renovation work nearby, but it is very quiet in the evening. We liked santa luzia and proximity to the lovely beaches via short ferry or the tourist train, but there is a better choice of restaurants in Tavira, unless you really like octopus which is the local speciality. Tavira is only 5 min drive and just €5 each way using Uber.

In één woord: fantastisch. De gastvrije en vriendelijke ontvangst door Edouarda (fijn dat we al vroeg mochten inchecken). De smaakvolle en gezellig ingerichte kamers, het terras met comfortabel meubilair en zelfs dekentjes voor de frisse avonden. De fijne keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. Werkelijk aan alles is gedacht. Door de ligging midden in het dorp voelt het een beetje alsof je er zelf woont.

This place is amazing , really nice. Of all the beaches we went to our favourite was Praia da terra Estreita. The house has literally everything you could need including beach umbrella and fold up chairs and ice packs to keep your drinks cold. Will return for sure !

2 couples made up of 3 Portuguese and 1 English stay at Stefan’s during tye last 5 days. We all knew the area staying at other places before but always in Santa Luzia, we loved it there. This place is perfect for location. Lots of restaurants near by and little supermarkets bread/cake shops. one is within 20 years of the house. The house is beautiful, typical finishing mens house, but modernised to a high standard. Immaculately clean, beds very comfortable, air con, with temperatures of 38 during the day and no less than 28 at night was very welcoming. Eduarda the lady that greeted us was wonderful explaining everything and very helpful. We only wished we could have made better use of the beautiful terrace but with such high temperatures it was impossible to stay outside during the day, but we made the most of it in the hot evenings. Can’t recommend “A Nossa Casinha” high enough. Perfect in every way. Thank you Vanessa and Stefan for letting us share your home. Edite
