We loved Jane's little cottage. It is exactly as shown in the photos, including the spectacular view. The cottage is very comfortable. Jane is lovely and was happy to let us change from two guests to four without a worry. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Toft.

Absolutely stunning location - the views over to Hoy are spectacular. Janes place is well designed and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the hot bread and extras she left for us - a lovely touch. If you like your sleep ins the bedroom only has sheer curtains so morning light fills the room early. This wasn’t an issue for us at all but it’s something to be aware of. Jane has left loads of great books and games so the lack of a TV goes unnoticed - to be honest the views are better to watch anyway. A fabulous place and we’d definitely recommend . We hope to be back one day.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Toft! There were incredible views of the sea and Hoy, and it was cosy and warm throughout. The bed was comfortable and the living area was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The kitchen had every amenity we could have needed. We'd definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful stay! Jane's house is just outside Stromness, very quiet and with unbeatable views of the sea and the island of Hoy. Stromness is 5 minutes away by car and there is a footpath along the sea. The flat is bright and equipped with everything you need. We would love to come back!

Toft is a wonderful house in a really special setting with an amazing view. The house has everything one would need and more. We highly recommend and hope to return.
