The host was very responsive and the apartment was great and sufficing our requirements. Shops are very close and we could easily drive out to the Nature reserve. As this was a work trip it was also possible to be productive as the area is relatively quiet.

Jan's place was close to shops and shopping centre and approx 20 mins from Darwin CBD. Good cooking facilities and reasonable amount of crockery, pots etc, air conditioning and fans to keep cool, showers had good water pressure and washing machine at the end of the verandah and drying area all made for a good stay. Like all homes, there were a few negatives, ie no bedside lamps, most of the external louvres and two of the internal blinds in the lounge area had ceased, but there is a maintenance program for the property and hopefully these will be on the agenda to be fixed in the not too distant future.
