Staying at the beautiful villa in Sintra, Portugal, was an experience beyond compare. The stunning views of rolling hills (with a glimmering peak of the ocean in the distance), coupled with exceptional hospitality, made our stay memorable. The villa's architecture seamlessly blended traditional Portuguese design with modern comforts. Situated in Sintra, it offered easy access to local attractions and the ocean. We explored historic landmarks by day, and then returned to our lovely home with fresh groceries from the local market and made a feast in the well equipped kitchen. The groundskeeper and property manager, Sunil, was exceptional. He greeted us personally and brought our luggage inside. He gave us a full tour of the property, brought us fresh goat milk and the most delicious oranges grown right on property. He made us feel so welcome and at home. We also appreciated daily housekeeping. Our time there was truly magical, and we hope to return soon.

The house is spectacular- so luxurious and the views are amazing! You feel you are in a fairytale and the beds were so comfortable. There is a lot of history and it is the perfect place for a large party. The only issue is that it is not easy to get into town unless you are a strong Walker - as it takes 25 minutes to get to the restaurants and town. There are mainly one way streets so getting to and from the location are a little difficult. It was worth it in the end, but good to know this before you book. Enjoy the property - as it is amazing!

La Quinta Bella Vista was absolutely beautiful - everything about our stay exceeded our expectations! The property itself is stunning, the villa is situated in the heart of Sintra over looking the hills and the sea. It's wonderfully maintained, lush with lots of plants and many walkways to lose yourself in. The rooms are all individually incredible, decorated with lots of character. It's a great place to visit with a group of friends or family as there's lots of space and amenities. There are tons of places to sit (inside and out) with fireplaces, fire pits, and terraces scattered through out. Not to mentioned there's a pool which has views of the sea. Dinesh, the property manager, made our stay exceptional. He was responsive, friendly and extremely helpful. He organised a chef to come in and cook for us one night which was such a treat. I can't say enough about this villa, it was magical. We will be back!

The setting, view, property and amenities are all beyond what pictures can convey. Bella Vista is without a doubt a dream. Alex, Aline and their staff have elevated the art of luxurious living and are happy to provide guest with a relaxed and attentive stay. Walking to Sintra from Bella Vista is a mildly challenging, steep at times, 20 minute walk. Driving on the local roads takes patience and a sense of daring. Other than meals or food shopping though, there is no reason to leave the property, and there are transportation options (Ride share, cabs, Tuk Tuks). our experience at Bella Vista will remain a pleasant, magical memory whenever we think of Portugal.
