The entire place was dirty, there were stains on the bed, half the lights didnt work, one doors lock was broken, dishes were just shoved in the cabinets & basically falling out, the island is backwards & missing a drawer, there was tons of expired food, the shower turns on randomly, the front door can be unlocked easily so its not safe, theres a hole in the wall at the bottom of the stairs that we were told happened recently & they just havent got to it but its actually been there for 4+ years, the entire time we were there there was construction happening next door, the agreement said checkout at noon but the day we were leaving we were messaged at 8am that we needed to leave by 10am, & theres signs at the front that say no renting. Biggest waste of money. I HIGHLY recommend you pick a different place to stay.

Steve was very responsive and helpful. His family’s lakehouse is a lovely getaway location where you know many great memories have been made. We felt honored to stay in this cute spot.

This lake house was a good weekend adventure! Steve was very communicative and proactive with anything we needed help with. We weren’t expecting the drive out to it, but had good laughs about the cabin in the woods vibes! We do recommend an AWD or SUV vehicle. The house has been well maintained and they continue working on it. WiFi was pretty spotty for us and not a lot of service so it’s a semi unplugged weekend. Overall, a good experience!

The location is off the beaten path, but beautiful. Its an easy drive into hermann, but would also make a great retreat from busy life.

For the price I expected the place to be exactly like listing showed it, was for from that. The screened in porch was filthy looked like it been cleaned, firepit had over grown weeds and trash around it. It took my son an hour to clean the grill of the rodent nesting material and droppings. Had my 1 year old granddaughter on the deck until we saw all the mouse droppings so we had to clean it to so she could be outside with us. The only place we could see to easily access the lake was cover up by a derelict potoon boat so swimming there impossible for the older folks in our family.
