I Scott, have an avid interest in art & design, and theatre and dance. I also love sailing, snowboarding, staying in shape, talking about social issues, peace and mindfulness. I studied advertising design and psychology-sociology in university and did communications design for many years as a career. For years I've also been involved as a volunteer helping others through non-profit organizations. I Deb, am an avid fitness buff who loves going to the gym several times a week and walking. I’ve been in the cosmetics industry for most of my life and people see me as very sociable, caring, positive and happy. We both love to travel and see other parts of the world and learn about other cultures and how they live. We also love food and cooking, and film and music of many genres. We are people-persons and enjoy making new friends and making others feel respected and cared for. We value social awareness, and being open to the uniqueness of every person. We avidly support equal rights and inclusiveness in terms or race, culture, ethnicity, gender identity and sexual orientation, and hope that all guests of ours feel the same. Staying at our place will feel comfortable and relaxed, in a lived in atmosphere with 1 full time renter and 3 other Airbnb rooms/guests when all rooms are booked, all of whom are free to use the kitchen, laundry and living room with tv and fireplace. The neighbourhood is safe with most residents being made up of young professionals, and families. Our place is a 25 minute transit ride to downtown, a 15 minute drive to Pearson Airport, a 4 minute walk to the lake (and even less to the huge and beautiful High Park), and a 2 minute walk to St. Joseph's hospital in the popular area of Toronto known as Roncesvalles Village. Here there are many food markets, boutique shops, restaurants, cafes and sports bars, some with live entertainment many nights of the week. We strive for, and hope that your stay here will be an enjoyable one.
