Great home base from which to explore the Redwood National Park and environs. The house was comfortable and spacious —and exactly as listed. The WiFi was spotty and was out completely our first night so an emergency landline might be a good idea!

We rented Johnny and Paul’s Zen Retreat as the venue for our equinox microwedding. The home is incredible, built with care and consideration of the surroundings, and the space and its grounds are very spiritual. The redwood grove on the property was such a lovely location to hold our ceremony, and celebrate our love amongst our families and friends. Johnny and Paul were lovely communicative hosts who answered all of our questions and provided wonderful recommendations. Ben and I recommend this space for anyone seeking peace and relaxation.

This property is magnificent! The home is stunning, yet still cozy and comfortable. The property is gorgeous! This was my favorite home we’ve ever stayed in. Gorgeous art work and furnishings. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect for my large family! There is no door on the primary bath, so that is worth noting. Overall, we were delighted with this home!

The most beautiful vacation we have taken and we have been to Humboldt hundreds of times. The home feel was so amazing and we absolutely loved the cozy, relaxing atmosphere.

The Fieldbrook retreat is a singularly incredible place. Our vacation was so incredibly special. Each room is beautiful, the nature is stunning, and there is room to do everything. Johnny was an incredibly responsive and friendly host. We would absolutely come back. A magical place.
