We rented the cottage for almost three months from September to December. The checkin and checkout was uncomplicated and easy. The cottage was really nice and clean so we felt very comfortable. Sometimes we had to work online and the internet connection was really fast in the cottage which was nice as well. The view from the cottage is beautiful. Only it is a bit difficult to get groceries for example if you don’t have a car as the location of the cottage is a bit far off. All in all, we would definitely recommend the cottage and had a very nice stay!

The cottage was spotless. It was exactly as we had imagined it from the pictures. A lovely quiet and peaceful place. It felt quite private. The ground-heat pump kept the cottage wonderfully cosy and warm. Nice to know it is eco friendly. The bed was comfortable. Enjoyed waking up and seeing cows in the morning sunshine through the bedroom window. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, even helpful odds and ends. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.

This cottage has everything you need and is in a lovely quiet area. We are a family of 3 who stayed about 11 days. It comes with a fully functional and well stocked kitchen. There is a hob, oven, kettle and toaster. There was also tea, coffee, pasta, rice and lots more. In fact this BnB came very generously stocked with everything - cleaning supplies, towels, hangers, extra blankets, clothes pegs, even bin bags.... everything we needed! The bed was very comfortable and the quiet area made for excellent sleep. The living room comes with a large, comfortable sofa and big TV. The WiFi is excellent. There are also 2 work desks. We were traveling with a 2 year old and she loved the big garden and quiet roads where we went for walks each day. Stephen supplied us with a very comfortable travel cot and there were even children’s toys in the house. The neighbors are friendly too. I would highly recommend this BnB for families. The only advice I have is if you are not driving order a tesco delivery to stock up on food. Dunleer village has lots of good restaurants but is a little bit of a walk away. We could only find a couple of restaurants that delivered to us (there could well be more though). Stephen was a pleasure to deal with and was very understanding when we had to change our dates. He was excellent at communicating with us before and during our stay. He was flexible and understanding on our check in time as were coming straight from the airport after lengthy travel. He was a pleasure to deal with and he is a true professional. I’m so glad we went with Stephen and his BnB!
